Our mission is to keep the books clear and current for owner-run businesses. That way owners can spend their evenings with family, not on the books.
Crystal started KeyLine for work-life balance and financial freedom, for her own family and for the local owners she works with. Evenings, weekends, and family matter to her. Your evenings should be yours, not spent on the books.
About Crystal
Meet Crystal, Your Personal Bookkeeper
Crystal came to Texas from Chicago in 2017 and lives in Jarrell. Go Cougars! Before KeyLine she spent about four years in retail management and about five years in banking and finance, in cash management. Crystal is married to a wonderful husband of 13 years and has been a mom to 3 crazy, lovable children and 2 furbabies: Bartleby, a Russian Blue, and Luna, a Mini Schnauzer.
Experience
Her Years in Banking
Crystal was a teller lead for 3 years and a universal banker for 2. As a universal banker, she helped hundreds of clients understand, organize and manage their finances, from everyday deposits and withdrawals to opening new accounts. Colleagues and clients came to her for research, careful detail work and advice on what to do next.
One of her clients had a fraudulent charge repeating on their account and didn’t know it. While researching for them, Crystal found it and brought it to their attention. Together they reported every charge, which went back more than four months, got a new debit card and upgraded the accounts to protect the client’s money. She followed up until it was resolved and didn’t recur. As a result of her research, the client got their money back, and the new accounts earned a higher interest rate. They became loyal clients and came to her whenever they needed anything.
Outside work
Life Outside the Books
Crystal spends most of her time with her family, playing games, singing and dancing, cooking, crafting, or simply snuggling and watching movies. In her free time she loves crafting, DIYs, finding a new dish to try, homemade or at a restaurant, kayaking, thrifting, and adventuring out with friends. She also volunteers at WilCo Animal Shelter and is part of the PTO at her kids’ schools. She keeps herself busy and treasures every moment!
